Fishery Rules

The following information constitutes the fishery rules. If you don't understand any of the rules please ask a member of staff.

Please remember these rules are here to protect the anglers, fish and the fishery. If you intend to disregard any of the rules, you may be asked to leave without refund. The fishery reserves the right to change any rule without notice.

Fishery Rules

Barbless hooks only.
Maximum hook size 10.
All anglers must have their own landing net.
No rubbish.
Keep nets only to be used in matches.
All nets must be dipped in fishery dip before bringing them onto the fishery(no exceptions).
Children under 15 must be supervised by an adult.
Handle all fish gently (no rags) and return them to the same water from which they were caught.
Attempts to remove fish from the fishery will be treated as theft.
All cars and cycles must be left in the car park at the owners own risk.
Please obey all speed limits and do not drive or park on the grass.
No floating poles.
No night fishing.
Noise must be kept to minimum.
Rude or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Bait Rules

No high oil/protein pellets, Carp pellets only.
All meat is banned.
No Bread during summer months(BST).
Ground bait in a pole cup or feeder only.
No floating baits.
No boilies.

Match Rules

All nets must be dipped before proceeding onto the fishery.
A minimum of two legal carp keep nets are required.
16m pole limit in Open Matches but please see the information board on the day of your match explaining keep net rules.
All draws must take place at the lodge.
Open Match weigh-ins will be conducted by the fishery please leave the fish in the water until staff are at your peg.
Maximum of 5hr matches.
It is the responsibility of the match secretary or club representative to ensure all members are aware of the rules.
